Coach Kristine

Kristine is a graduate of Berkeley and the SJSU Credential Program. Kristine’s swimming career began as a swimmer at Cloverdale Swim Team and the West Valley Aquatics Team. She has coached at Cloverdale Cabana Club, South Valley Swim Team, Los Ranchitos (she was part off the restarting of the team at LRCC!) and DeAnza Cupertino Aquatics. Kristine is excited to see the Sharks spread their fins and race in their new ‘tank’! Coach Kristine says “I am energized by the potential that will be reached in all the athletes this year. We have a terrific returning staff as well as some new CIT’s to show the ropes. GO SHARKS!”

Senior Assistant Coach Jeff

Coach Jeff

Jeff swam almost his whole life at various clubs and has been with LRCC since he was 8 years old. Jeff has a BA in sociology and works at a local Allstate office in addition to coaching at Los Ranchitos. Jeff is extremely excited for the new pool this season! In addition, he can’t wait to see old faces as well as getting to know new ones this season!

Coach Sam

Coach Sam swam most of his life, was captain of the Westmont Swim Team and has recently learned to scuba dive! He will be attending Cal Poly in the fall as a Junior. Sam is looking forward to an awesome new pool with familiar, friendly faces for 2012!

P.S. He invented the Secret Shark’s Handshake!

Alana

Alana is completing her freshman year at Chapman University (OC). Alana has been swimming at LRCC for 13 years and still looks forward to returning every summer! She also swam on the varsity swim team at Westmont High School, where she graduated from last year. Alana is looking forward to seeing the new remodeled pool and being back in the water with old friends! This season will be her final year swimming as a Shark, and she can’t wait to make every moment last!

Tasha will complete her senior year in high school this year! She has been swimming with the LR Sharks since 2004 and is on the varsity swim team at Prospect High School. Tasha is looking forward to another great season with the Sharks! She is eager to see last year’s swimmers again and meet some new Sharks too! Tasha is looking forward to another great season, full of work, fun days and great swimmers!

Colin attends Prospect High School where he is currently on the swim team. Colin has swam for the LR Sharks for the past ten years. He also enjoys wrestling, basketball and football. Sharks coaches in 2010 Now recruiting for 2011.

The Sharks swim team typically has over 120 swimmers in need of passionate, organized coaches.

Responsibilities include; communicating with and motivating swimmers and parents, developing workouts and coaching meets.

All applicants must have a competitive swimming background.

These are paid positions, see the job application for more information on pay rates.
