Sharks Coaching Staff 2024
HEAD COACH
Kristine is a graduate of UC Berkeley and the SJSU Credential Program. Kristine’s swimming career began as a swimmer at Cloverdale Swim Team and West Valley Aquatic Team. She has coached at Cloverdale Cabana Club, South Valley Swim Team, Los Ranchitos (part of the restart in 1995) and De Anza Cupertino Aquatics. Kristine also serves as Aquatics Director at LRCC and Secretary at West Valley Youth Theater.
“Fun, friends, and fundamentals” are Kristine’s philosophy for the team. GO SHARKS!
SR. ASSISTANT COACH
Aidan Gaither is an alumni of the Sharks having spent over 10 years competing on the team. Coach Aidan returns for his 2nd year on staff. He is a member of the Foothill College Swimming and Water Polo teams. Aidan enjoys competitive gaming and is studying cyber-security. He was team captain of the Prospect High School swimming and water polo teams and served in an assistant coach capacity there as well. Aidan also spent many years competing for Santa Clara Swim Club.
SR. ASSISTANT COACH
Carina German is an alumna of the Sharks having spent over 8 years competing on the team. Coach Carina returns for her 3rd year on staff. She attends the University of Arizona. Carina swam and played water polo at Westmont High School. Carina has been a camp counselor with the San Jose Recreation Department for many years and is extremely qualified to work with groups of young athletes.
