Participation Fee

Since opening in 1959, Los Ranchitos Cabana Club has relied on volunteers to help keep operating costs low. After trying numerous methods to increase participation, the Board voted to implement a Refundable Participation Fee for each New and Returning Membership beginning in 2017.  The Refundable Participation Fee for the upcoming season will be $75, but we would prefer to have a little of your time to support the club instead of your money. The Participation Fee is not charged to Lifetime Members, Incoming and Returning Board/Committee Members and Senior Members.
How do I get my Participation Fee Refunded?
  • All refund requests must be submitted by November 1st of the year in which the job/task was completed.
  • Complete a task or volunteer at an event. Some tasks are a direct ask from the club (for example, being asked to be an Election Official at our Open House) or by signing up online HERE for an event or task.  This list is updated throughout the season so check back occasionally to see if a new task peaks your interest. 
  • ALL TASKS require signing in or reporting to the appropriate board member (noted in the online description/details) FAILURE to report on a task or signing in at an event will flag your participation as INCOMPLETE.
  • Submit Participation Fee Refund Request HERE All requests must be submitted no later than November 1 of the same calendar year. 
  • A check will be mailed to the name/address input on the form.  Please allow 2-3 weeks for processing.
  • If you incur expenses as part of this task, submit a Reimbursement Request form along with the original receipts. Please keep a copy of your receipts for your records. Reimbursement Request forms are available in the LRCC office or a printable file can be downloaded HERE.
Note: Volunteer work done as part of a swim team parent commitment does not qualify for the Participation Fee Refund.
